The New Jersey Nets have become the unofficial favorite team of the show. So far, stumbling to the second worst start in NBA history, the Nets are poised for sheer ineptitude and here’s to hoping that they achieve a new lower standard than ever.
The women of Tiger Woods; Following a very tepid apology by Woods some of the women he was with want anonymity, some want a direct apology, some clearly want to drag him through the mud… and what better woman to besmirch someone’s character than a porn star, especially if that porn star is represented by Gloria Allred. While financial considerations don’t appear to be on the table, Miss Allred and her client–better known as the pinnacle of moral virtues–want the world to know that Tiger wronged her. Once again, women like this make me almost feel bad for a lowly ass like Tiger Woods. Tiger’s apology apparently really touched an anchor on the Golf Channel.
Really stupid criminals: Several men try to steal gas… and almost get away with it except for one very important detail that they overlooked. Also, an old crooner doesn’t appreciate his fans taking pictures during a concert… and he REALLY doesn’t appreciate it.
It took exactly four days for the first lawsuit to be filed against the widow of Joe Stack–the anti-government vigilante that flew his plane into the Austin, Texas IRS building. Maybe a new low for ambulance chaseing attorney’s everywhere.
