If nothing else, Donald Trump has shown that he possesses the ability to do things that we—as American citizens—have never witnessed before. For instance, there has never been a president that attended a joint meeting with the leader of a nation that was directly linked to having interfered with a U.S. election that put the president into power. What followed this meeting over the course of the 60 hours was also nothing short of historic, the president offered up three very different explanation as to what is going on with Vladimir Putin and the onging U.S. investigation into Russian officials tied to meddling in the 2016 election. Let’s review the timeline:
Monday July 16: Trump denounces the findings of his intelligence in front of Vladimir Putin, when asked if Russia was involved Tump said that he sees “no reason why they would”. Also, he scored some bonus points in the petty category for bringing up Hilary Clinton’s “33,000 emails, where are they?”
Tuesday July 17: Trump returns to the U.S., does about the softest interview ever with Sean Hannity on Fox News and then proceeds to walk-back his remarks from Monday saying that what he “meant to say” was “wouldn’t… I don’t see any reason why they wouldn’t be involved … sort of a double-negative”. more like a Double-You-Tee-Eff.
Wednesday July 18: Trump does an interview with CBS news in which he is asked “So you agree with U.S. intelligence that Russia did meddle in the election?” Trump responds, “Yeah, and I’ve said that before… I have said that numerous times before and I would say that is true, yeah”. Having checked many of the president’s Tweets, transcripts of speeches and remarks, I can find no evidence that he has ever acknowledged this previously.
Ordinarily the above would merit extensive analysis and comment, but what’s the point? None of these positions may be indicative of Trump’s mood tomorrow, or maybe all of them will be, who knows?
The Internet Never Forgets
A life lesson that is being taught to Milwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Josh Hader is that what happens on social media doesn’t just stay on social media, in fact it follows you forever. The 24-year-old hurler had his unpleasant past revealed earlier this week; many of his remarks were racist and inflammatory in nature. When asked about the comments, Hader said that he doesn’t feel that way now and that he apologizes for the remarks which included homophobic commentary.
Hader’s teammates, when asked about the controversy, had only positive things to say and felt that the all-star pitcher did not act in any sort of racist fashion around any of them.
The sports media, having done nothing wrong in their lives, wasn’t so quick to forgive-and-forget, as usual.

I hate to be the one to tell you Michael, but you got trolled by Trump. But everyone else did too, so that’s okay. And that’s the point. The more he presses the liberal anti-Russia buttons, the more insane the left becomes. He knew what he was doing, the MSM completely exploded as usual, and you also drank the Kool-aid my friend. They keep pushing the Russia narrative, more people will leave the left because they’ve made the hysteria beyond ludicrous at this point. But I still enjoy your show. I have since 2008 when I used to work nights. So I’ll stay loyal. If anything, at least you’re way funnier than the MSM!
