Various members of Goldman Sachs are facing Congressional questions in what appears to be a well orchestrated theatrics for the American public. While former employees artfully dodge loaded questions, many are left wondering how this going to help now that the money is already gone.
Stop me if you’ve heard this before, the victims of a storm aren’t getting the help they need from the government. Following a deadly outbreak of tornadoes throughout the south, many are wondering why the federal government has offered ostensibly no response. Coincidentally, the media coverage of this situation is nowhere to be found.
Another European nation may need a bailout, this time it’s Spain. How’s that EU workin’ out these days?
The Los Angeles city counsel–along with other cities across the state of California are proposing a boycott of Arizona in response to it’s passage of SB1070, the illegal immigration bill that gives the police the authority to detain/arrest illegal immigrants. If California really wants to boycott Arizona then I’m all for it, I guess you won’t be needing all that power that we evil Arizonans supply to you then, right?
Wikipedia may be facing some legal issues. The online encyclopedia is accused of displaying imaging of graphic child pornography. While some seemingly questionable images appear to be stored in the massive knowledge-base, the site claims no obscene images exist.
Also on this Episode: The pop chart commits ear-rape on us again. Although a couple of redeeming songs exist on this week’s chart. More proof women might be crazy – a poll finds that 1/3rd of married women would rather talk to their pets than their spouses. In a counterbalance to show the stupidity of males – A jacksonville, FL man sneaks into a veterinary clinic, eats some of the food in the staff fridge, injects himself with tranquilizer and then the story gets weird.
