Lance Baxter, one of many voice-over talents affiliated with the popular Geico commercials has been let go by the insurance company. The termination appears to be a direct result of Baxter’s remarks he made online regarding the Tea Party and Conservatives.
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is supposed to be the primary watchdog over various financial institutions. The problem is that a recent investigation shows that the only stock that they were watching was T&A. Boxes of porn stored on DVDs, tens of thousands of pornographic images and an equal number of attempts to circumvent internet blockades to access porn sites are just some of the things that were uncovered at the SEC. It’s becoming quite a bit clearer how Bernie Madoff was able to swindle more than $65 billion. Apparently the SEC is interesting in only one kind of screwing.
