Oil, If You Don’t Like the Way I’m Runnin’ BP, Yacht to Tell Me

Weather related news: Flagstaff, Arizona threatened by wildfire. The Schultz fire has consumed more than 10,000 acres to date and is closing in on the northern Arizona city, firefighters are trying to tackle the blaze but weather conditions are making it tough. Also, the flooding in Arkansas continues to worsen and the forecasts are for more rain… naturally both dry conditions in Arizona and wet conditions in Arkansas are the net result of global warming.

A portion of Pima county in southern Arizona has been taken over by a drug cartel. The situation is reportedly so bad that even the Pima county sheriff’s office refuses to send law enforcement agents to the region. If only we had some type of federal government that was supposed to help secure a boundary between ourselves and let’s say… a neighboring country… Hmmm.

While millions of gallons of oil continue to spill into the Gulf of Mexico, BP CEO Tony Hayward was enjoying a yacht race. Some people really are their own worse public relations nightmare.
