Happy New Year!

image post

It’s the first show of the new year! As is typically the case I chronicle my New Years Eve festivities—which lasts about four seconds (complete with annual Dick-Clark-should-retire speech).

After slipping on a big patch of ‘global warming’ on New Years Day (in Phoenix), it would seem “climate change” is soooo last decade!

Thousands of birds and nearly 20,000 fish are dead in Arkansas and Louisiana without a known cause—the official explanation leaves much to be desired.

Congressional inauguration is tomorrow (Wednesday) time to preview the potential firestorm of changes that may take place in both the house and senate. Also, I dangerously interject facts into the discussion as I recap the previous congress and their toll on the deficit/debt. Speaking of the debt, The U.S. is now $14 trillion in the hole! …wait, the higher the number the better, right? What is the debt ceiling, why should you care and will Republicans in the house actually do something about it? (Is that question even really necessary?)

Congratulations, we have more laws on the books than ever before! Also, beware of “K2”, the new evil drug that the government is certain to allocate a king’s ransom to fighting against.

Just in time for 2011, a new travel hot-spot… complete with gunfire and decapitations!

Plus, meet a real-life superhero, he’s certainly more ‘super heroic’ than most. What is with the ever increasing trend of individuals dressing up like super heroes and taking to the streets?

  1. I came to see if you uploaded a new podcast and what should I see! The website goddess has blessed you! I’m just so darn excited to see colors and fonts, who knows what the podcast could bring! =) Congrats Mike!

  2. Very nice website. :)

I used to listen to your show like 3 years ago through itunes. i never used to have your podcasts but used to catch it randomly on some comedy station.

Looking forward to downloading and listening to ALL your episodes, you have the best radio show I have ever heard. Don’t stop Mike, keep at it. If I ever end up owning a radio station (who knows right? :P) I would totally hire you as the front man.

    Regards,
