Part II of the Jacksonville experience (follow up). I won’t have to worry about that move after all. Evidently I am an amazing talent with a million dollar voice, an incredible news writer and a dynamic personality, but… (the real answer always comes after the “but”) I lack the “passion” for radio. I thought I’ve heard most of the excuses and corporate speak, but this was something no one has ever said to me before. Naturally, it leaves one wondering what the real reason is… as if all of us don’t know already… I’ll take “Things that rhyme with fiscrimination for $1,000 Alex”.

The midterm elections are just 5 days away and the GOP is clearly in the driver’s seat for a big takeover of the House and possibly a swing in the Senate. Voters are most concerned with the current state of the economy; unemployment/job growth and spending. This brings about the stat of the year that I was able to gather which says a lot about the Democrats and Barack Obama’s spend happy policies thus far.

Places you don’t want to go…
Yet another tsunami in tsumatra! Why do people live there? God is clearly telling you that it’s off limits, get the hint. 270 people killed, many more injured and $72.43 worth of damage.
In one Mexican town, the police have surrendered to the criminals. A police station has been vacated leaving the area to be run by the drug cartel that has taken over… interestingly enough the town probably will be run more efficiently or perhaps everyone will be killed, looks like Mexico is off my travel hot-spots list again.
Speaking of third world places no one wants to live… first it was bed bugs, then stink bugs, now New York city has lice!

I ask how it is that anyone can possibly be undecided regarding the upcoming election… but apparently 12% really are… huh?
