With just one month to go before the 2010 midterm elections, the debates are heating up. The latest polls indicated GOP and Tea Party candidates leading in many key states/races. A growing anti-incumbent sentiment appears to be manifesting into reality and Democrats are becoming worried. An organized demonstration–primary funded by George Soros and promoted by Ed Schultz and other progressive talkers is taking place in Washington, D.C. Is it too little, too late for the progressive movement? If the trends are to be believed, the answer is a resounding “yes”.

Another debate is ongoing in congress and it is centered around the extension of unemployment benefits. In spite of the president’s bold proclamation that the recession is over, millions of Americans remain on unemployment benefits and the clock is ticking until those checks run out.

CNN commentator Rick Sanchez has been fired following remarks he made regarding Daily Show host John Stewart. Typically once you go to the “Jew” card, the chances of retaining employment tend to spiral. Then again, what would expect from the man that actually asked “how can you have a volcano in Iceland, isn’t it too cold?” It’s only fitting that we remember the legacy of Sanchez for the dumbass that he is… so tune in and check out the medley of clips and comments made by Sanchez. It’s clear CNN really will hire just about anyone, of any intelligence.
