President Obama declares the recession is over! Might not want to tell that to the ten percent that are unemployed and many more underemployed… I hear they’re still a little touchy about that subject, being that they’re fighting for their lives and whatnot. At this point, we speculate in studio whether or not the president is simply being audacious, delusional or just completely lying to protect his party. The motivation to lie seems clear with the midterm election only 40 days away and momentum/polls showing an ever increasing trend toward a GOP surge in the House and possibly the Senate.
At one point president Obama even takes credit and sounds prideful in the way the economy is moving at this point. …that would lend to the delusional theory. For future reference, when millions are unemployed, millions more are struggling financially and home foreclosures continue at an unprecedented pace, it would be wise to not gloat about the deck chair you just hurled off the Titanic.

The United States cares about you… if you live in developing/third world nations that is. Despite the 13.5 trillion dollar debt, we have found it in our hearts to donate tens of millions so that rudimentary stoves can be replaced with more modern cooking appliances across Africa. Meanwhile a homeless guy asks for government assistance in this country, “Sorry fella, we’re broke!”
