The Academy Awards are here and that brings about the annual tradition of the Oscars tirade. The shotgun rant spares no one as I question why anyone cares about award shows, the type of people that watch, Ryan Seacrest, Joan Rivers and just about anything else that could possibly have anything to do with ABC.
Freshman congressman Eric Massa (D-NY) says that he is opposed to the current version of president Obama’s Health care initiative. Coincidentally, allegations of ethics violations are brought about against Massa. Moreover, he reports that he has had an uncomfortable incident with one member of Obama’s cabinet regarding the health care debate. Speaking of ethics violations… another house Democrat faces charges stemming from failure to report income on his taxes… again?
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Rothlisberger is accused of sexual improprieties for the second time in 18 months. The story does seem a bit questionable given the lack of cooperation by the part of the accuser and the witness accounts–or lack there of. Nonetheless, it seems more than likely the NFL will take action against Big Ben.
