The Gulf oil spill continues and now robotic subs are being brought in to help potentially seal the blown out well.

President Barack Obama speaks pleads with Hispanic voters to get out and make their voices heard in the upcoming primaries and mid-term elections. The president, clearly troubled by sagging poll numbers and the increasingly obvious inevitability of a GOP shift in power (especially likely in the house) this November, is trying his best to electrify his base.

Arizona’s SB1070 is now law. Governor Jan Brewer signed the legislation which would give police the authority to detain suspected illegal immigrants (an authority that police already have under existing federal law). Expect legal challenges to take place–on what grounds no one knows, but opponents will use the “throw a bunch of crap at the wall and see what sticks” strategy.

The NFL Draft in prime time was a ratings success. Also, I recap/preview the NBA playoffs.

A round of devastating tornadoes rolls through the planes and the deep south, naturally tornadoes have never occurred in the spring before and therefore are a direct result of global warming.

Plus a list of places I’d rather be at on vacation than Ashville, NC.

If you’re name happens to match one of the most infamous domestic terrorists in U.S. history, it’s probably a bad idea to be in the vicinity of Air Force I while being heavily armed, worse idea to demand to speak to the president and even dumber to try and force your way there.
